PHOTO: Murderer Kills His Brother's Whole Family

Text

Damir Voschion shot his father in the head, his own brother Dean, his brother's wife Natasa, their 2 month old boy and 7 year old girl.

Five people were murdered tonight at 7pm, at 33 Rohergerova Street in Pula, Croatia.

The murderer Damir Voschion (46) shot his brother Dean (40) in the head, his brother’s wife Natasa (36) and their two children; a two month old boy and a seven year old girl. After that, he shot his own father Renato (70), writes barkun.hr.

Mother escapes death

Damir and Dean’s mother was not in the Voschion house earlier this evening, who also lived in their common household. If she had been there, she would have died at the hands of her own son, assume the witnesses. She was saved by the fact that she was being treated in hospital.

Witnesses claim that the killer walked the streets nervously for a full hour after the murders, and none of the neighbours that met him saw that he had a weapon in his hands, writes Vecernji List.

It is assumed that Damir was waiting for his sixteen year old son who lived in the family house with his father.

Killer’s son finds his family murdered

Considering that he did not await his son in the hour that he walked the streets, he went to the nearest police station. There he confessed to everything that he had done. In the mean time, the killer’s son arrived home to a horrifying sight – his whole family had been murdered.

Nobody gave any signs of life.

The boy’s grandfather, the father of Damir’s ex wife, took the boy to his place. The boy is in shock and will be given expert assistance.

The investigating judge Vujic, deputy state attorney Sirotic and the chief of the criminal police Cestar, went to the scene of the crime.

Family troubles

The motives of this unheard of crime “lies in family problems”, claims Vujic.

The Voschion family owned the family house in Rohregerova Street. The ground floor was occupied by the father of the family, the killer’s brother and family lived on the first floor, whilst the killer lived on the floor above.

The shocked neighbours said that the family was quiet and that there had never been a previous incident.

Damir Voschion was a boxer for a short period of time, but had to stop training because of injuries, writes barkun.hr.

The scene of the crime was also visited by the father of the murdered Natasa, who constantly kept saying that he wanted to see his child. The police did not let him in because a criminal investigation was in progress.

The investigation is still under way.
