The brothers Novica and Nikola Petrac claim they passed a polygraph after nearly six hours of interrogation.

At 3pm, Novica Petrac left the headquarters of the crime police in Zagreb’s Heinzlova Street, where the investigators into the murder of Ivana Hodak had been interrogating him since 9am.

“I was with my father in Lepoglava yesterday. How do you think a man in shock feels” said Novica, answering a question about how Hrvoje Petrac is.

The older son of Hrvoje Petrac also explained that the results of the polygraph interrogation are complete, and it was because he had to wait for the results of the test that he spent so much time in the police station. According to his own claims, the Petrac brothers passed the polygraph.

“I knew Ivana and I will most probably go to her funeral tomorrow” said Novica Petrac, who asked if there will be an apology to the Petrac family in a month’s time when the real murderer is found.

Nikola Petrac left the police station a few minutes after his brother, and was not happy to see the gathered journalists and photographers.

“Will you finally leave me alone now?” said Nikola Petrac to the press, and sat in a car with his brother and left Heinzlova Street.
