Dutchman Paul Van Dyk proved on Wednesday night why he has been at the very top of the electro scene for the past 20 years. In th eeuphoria of his four-hour set, he was accompanied by 4,500 fans who arrived from all sides.
The first track which officially opened the festival was dedicated to the recently deceased Michael Jackson, his “Thriller”, which the Papaya club audience thunderingly welcomed.
Thrilled with the atmosphere, Paul Von Dyk decided to extend his set to four hours and welcome sunrise with the audience. He justified his position of being the third best DJ in the world as the club resounded with applause.

Many Croaitan celebrities attended the show, including actor Rene Bitorajac with his wife, Connect lads, TV and radio host Ivan Vukusic, footballer Silvio Maric, models Iva Dragovic, Martina Cular and Jelena Danona, Mister Croatia Bruno Oreskovic and many more.
Papaya club sees rise in attendance
Papaya club organisers have managed to make a step forward in relation to last year. They thought that the previous season was their pinnacle, but a rise in attendance has been recorded and the festival has been sold-out in advance. Despite he credit crunch, accommodation in Novalja is fully booked and the guests from all corners of the world arrived for their dosage of fun at the most desired location for youth. The carefully planned season has yielded good results.
