ZAGREB, CROATIA – Zagreb`s The Regent Esplanade Hotel hosted the reception on Tuesday for British Princess Anne. The Princess arrived accompanied by Croatian President Stjepan Mesic and wife Milka.

Apart from the president, the reception was also attended by Croatian Education Minister Dragan Primorac, deputy PM Vesna Pusic, Australian Ambassador Tracy Reid, as well as several Croatian athletes, including Taekwondo practitioner Martina Zubcic and swimmer Sanja Jovanovic. Princess Anne arrived in Croatia two days ago, and apart from the Presidential residence, she also paid a visit to the “Krila” therapy riding association.

Princess Anne is otherwise a great fan of horses and according to statement of the “Krila” association president Jelena Krmpotic, the Princess was delighted with what she saw at the association.

She was especially delighted by the riders, because she knows, as a horse enthusiast, that it is very difficult to train horses to stay calm. The English Princess wondered about the children and their diagnosis, who will surely benefit from the visit of such an esteemed guest.
