Another baby was born into the family of Californian sea-lions at Zagreb’s zoo.
ZAGREB, CROATIA – Zagreb’s zoo got another baby animal. A week or so ago, another Californian sea-lion was born. The new member of the family was happily welcomed by two elder brothers: Simba, which was born in 2007 and Kan, which was born in 2008.
Mommy Edith is taking great care of her baby, which is why visitors feeding the sea-lions will be banned for a while and access to their habitat has been restricted.
Daddy Zigi is not that busy with the baby yet, but animal keepers say this is quite normal behaviour for that species. However, the baby will definitely not lack attention once it grows a bit and becomes the main attraction of Zagreb’s zoo.
