ZAGREB, CROATIA – The spirit of old Zagreb has paid a visit to the Ban Jelacic Square on Sunday. It quietly snuck up and like the autumn sun, stroked Zagreb citizens who happened to be in Zagreb`s central square that afternoon.
How many stories of old Zagreb citizens, who use the Jelacic Square as their usual meeting spot, were told and how many themes and events were there from the past of the city, remembered by its pensioners?
Just as it appeared in stories of those who had witnessed them, the old city spirit appeared on this Sunday afternoon and through the music of an old street artist who pulled out his wheel cart and an old device, showing the locals it still works and can make passers-by happy.
The citizens of Zagreb are not indifferent towards their past and this was clear from the interest these rarities caused. Zagreb`s pensioners and the old street player are the perfect combination to relax on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
Take a look at the attached photo gallery.
