DOWNTOWN ZAGREB
JUNE 28 2009 15:57h
The sun that was hiding behind clouds and an occasional drop of rain forced Zagreb’s girls to drink their coffee downtown in record time.
ZAGREB, CROATIA – Umbrellas and sunglasses, although two accessories that do not go together,
were this weekend unavoidable “fashion” details for girls in downtown Zagreb.
The sun that was hiding behind clouds and an occasional drop of rain forced Zagreb’s girls to have their afternoon coffee and their dose of most recent gossip in Tkalciceva Street and Cvjetni Square in record time.
But the persistent ones did not allow themselves to be disturbed by the game of clouds and at least for a brief while enjoyed some rays of sun which we are used to in June. Wearing light skirts and dresses and the increasingly popular Turkish pants, with the occasional raincoat, the girls of Zagreb exchanged glasses with umbrellas and vice-versa. But despite the changing weather, the girls shone once again.
Whether in rain or in the sun, Zagreb’s girls know how to attract attention. Only few wore hot pants, while most wore jeans and simple t-shirts.
With their big earrings or, for example, a red belt with white combinations and wide blouses, they attracted men’s attention.
