The citizens of Zagreb enjoyed the annual Cest is d’Best festival in downtown Zagreb and on Lake Bundek.
ZAGREB, CROATIA – The celebration of the Nordic Midsummer holiday was held at Zagreb’s Bundek lake on Saturday. Many citizens, the old and the young enjoyed barbecues, fresh air and tried to keep themselves cool by drinking cold beer and soft drinks.
Children helped prepared barbeques
Children were the most excited at Bundek and helped their parents prepare barbeques, playing the roled, if not the chef, then at least assistant chefs.
Clowns, dancers and musicians in downtown
On the other part of the city, in the very centre, people could enjoy the performances of various artists who arrived in Zagreb for the 13th annual Cest is d’Best festival.
Artists from Australia, Austia, France, Croatia, Japan, Hungary, Germany, the United States, Slovenia, Serbia, Spain and Sweden showed all of their skills in dance, art and music.
Clowns entertained kids at Cvjetni Square and people enjoyed seeing real artwork being created on the asphalt.
