Zagreb girls welcomed warm days and the rise of the mercury in thermometers, ready to enjoy the delights of spring.

ZAGREB, CROATIA – The ultimate fashion hit of the season are large handbags, soft-heeled slippers and of course, a good pair of jeans. This was all present downtown in Zagreb on Saturday, in Cvjetni Square and Tkalciceva Street.

Encouraged with the warm Sun rays which lured people outside, Zagreb girls had a smile on their face, because the cold days were finally over.

Some sheepishly hid their face from our camera, but most proudly strolled the busy city centre.

Various dress combos

There were many dress combos: from long colourful skirts combined with tennis shoes, to jeans and light T-shirts, however, comfort was accentuated.

Downtowners in Zagreb took the opportunity to enjoy in the Sun, because, who knows, perhaps a cloud will come and close the sky.

Some Downtowners were alone, while others were accompanied by girl friends, while couples in love exchanged tender gazes.

 The fact that everything is more beautiful when the Sun shines was evident as Cvjetni Square (Croatian for Floral Square) was full of colourful flowers, which improved the mood.
