Many tourists can encounter characters who have marked the turn of the last century in Zagreb.
ZAGREB, CROATIA – The Sun has long since knocked on Zagreb`s doors, opening he tourist season. More and more tourists enjoy sightseeing in Zagreb, but what additionally delights them is posing with famous Croatian writer and the first Croatian female journalist Marija Juric Zagorka.
Apart from her, tourists in Zagreb`s Upper Town have a chance to meet with the postman, the gate keeper and
musician, dressed in old suits, which were worn last century.
To elaborate things a bit, the Tourists` Community of Zagreb organises a tour every weekend with famous Zagreb characters who have marked the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. Thus, Morana Babic as Marija Juric Zagorka, Mihovil Jurdana as the postman, Petar Tucman as the gate keeper and Mario Born as the musician entertained tourists, who had their photo taken with the “celebrities”.
Curious Polls, Italians and Germans wondered who the masked fellowship represented, as they patiently answered and elaborated who was who, announcing that Manda will join them soon near the popular Mandusevac fountain in Ban Jelacic Square.
Take a look at the PHOTOGALLERY.
