Police directorate commissionaire Krunoslav Borovec said the latest personnel changes at Dubrovnik police have nothing to do with Britt.
There have been several personnel changes at the Dubrovnik-Neretva police department, Croatian police announced.
Thus, in stead of deputy commander Ivan Kukrika, who will become commander of Police Operational-Communicational centre, Tonci Glumac has been named new deputy commander, who was the Cilipi Airport police station commander until now. Glumac`s former post will not be taken over by Djuro Miladin.
Professionals who can handle the tasks wanted
The new Ploce Police commander is Dalibor Steka, Mirko Bajo was named new head of the Organised Crime department at the Crime Police, while Ivan Ercegovic was named head of the Naval and Aerodynamic police department.
Krunoslav Borovec of the police directorate said that the latest personnel changes at Dubrovnik police have nothing to do with the Britt Lapthorne case and the supposed dissatisfaction of police heads concerning the work of Dubrovnik police when it comes to the disappearance and death of the young Australian backpacker.
- The latest personnel changes have nothing to do with this case. Professionals who can handle the tasks placed before the police are wanted – Borovec said.
