Croatian police sent a telegram to their Montenegrin colleagues, demanding an investigation to see whether Zeljko Milovanovic, suspected of the murder of Nacional weekly co-founder Ivo Pukanic, was hiding in Budva.
Milovanovic is hiding in Budva with a friend known as Vule, according to the telegram. Furthermore,
an investigation was requested to see if Robert and Luka Matanic, also suspects of the same murder, were staying in Bat last year.
Supposedly, the Croatian police demand an urgent investigation and want to be notified of the results as soon as possible. Montenegrin police have supposedly answered the call straight away and started checking the claims from the telegram.
According to the information of the Croatian police, the Matanic cousins most probably visited Bar last year, which is where Slobodan Djurovic comes from, who was arrested for being involved with the Pukanic assassination, and who is also best man of businessman Sreten Jocic aka Joca Amsterdam. Djurovic is allegedly the main mediator between the person who ordered and who performed the assassination on Ivo Pukanic.
