BRUTAL EXECUTION

Text
Two murders, one out of jealously, the other a mafia execution, have shocked Zagreb this morning. How many more are necessary?
ZAGREB, CROATIA – With two shots in the head, little after 11 o`clock, Ivana Hodak was executed, daughter of Zagreb attorney Zvonimir Hodak. The heart of the 26-year-old girl stopped beating in the Ambulance, on the way to the hospital. Only four hours prior to the brutal murder in the centre of Zagreb, a 17-year-old school girl was murdered outside her home as she was going to school. Unlike the execution of Ivana Hodak, the perpetrator of this murder is known. She was allegedly killed out of “love” by a 25-year-old Nama department store security guard. Doctors are fighting for his worthless life.
Why helicopters, guns…?
In a four hour period, Zagreb was shocked by two murders of young girls. One out of jealously, the other looks like a mafia retaliation execution.
The police have a helicopter flying over the city, roads were blocked, guns were dispatched to the streets. This scenario has been seen several times already.
But, why?
This all looks like one big farce to me, as a citizen of Zagreb. Creating the illusion of safety in the Croatian capital is just an act by the state institutions. They DO NOT KNOW how to do their job, there is NO security because of them. For God`s sake, the killer executed Ivana Hodak in the street in broad daylight, without a mask on his face! Does it not say enough about the extent to which the Croatian mafia fears the Croatian police?
The murder of Luka Ritz, Zagreb Roads director Igor Radjenovic being beaten up, reporter Dusan Miljus being beaten up. Industrogradnja construction company director Josip Galinec being beaten up… these are just some of the cases which the Croatian police, headed by Interior Minister Berislav Roncevic, has NOT been capable of solving for months. Yes, months, while some beatings are waiting to be solved for years, like the festive “welcome” of Privredna Bank head Bozo Prka, who was “sorted” with bats while exiting his apartment, or the attacks on reporters Denis Kuljis and Ante Simlesa.
Incapable Roncevic
What gives incapable Interior Minister Roncevic the right to face members of Parliament and stone cold say that nothing dramatic was going on in Croatia, adding that Croatia was a safe country? Where have moral and ethics of Minister Berislav Roncevic gone? Last week, Roncevic claimed that, well, unfortunately, murders can create a feeling in the public that people do not feel safe, but unfortunately, the public has to wait for light to be shed on such actions, because they cannot be solved in a short period.
Croatian Interior Minister assessed that the report on the state of security in Croatia was well made, and that according to all indicators, crime rates were down. In the end, he concluded that Croatia is on the upper level when it comes to security rates!!!
Where has the morale of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) members of Parliament gone, who raised their hands for Roncevic`s report, thus supporting it? Where is the moral of Prime Minister Ivo Sanader who persistently supports incapable Roncevic?
Shouldn`t they be ashamed now?
Web site Javno calls for the dismissal of Croatian Interior Minister Berislav Roncevic via an online petition, which reads:
Citizens of Croatia,
Since the beginning of year, Croatia has been shaken by a crime wave which points to corruption in the very state top, just like the incompetence, inefficiency and criminal negligence of the police which does not wish to or lacks the power to solve the cases which have shocked the public.
In the light of these events, web site Javno calls for the dismissal of Croatian Interior Minister Berislav Roncevic, who, as months go by without cases of beatings and/or executions being solved, convinces the citizens that everything is fine in Croatia and that nothing dramatic is happening.
We ask everyone who is concerned and rightfully expects this unacceptable “status quo” to be solved to sign this petition which demands action by the state bodies, determination of moral responsibility and the dismissal of the responsible individual – Croatian Interior Minister Berislav Roncevic.
Follow the link to the PETITION.
