President: Dodik Is The New Slobodan Milosevic

Croatian President Stjepan Mesic pointed out that Bosnia-Herzegovina might become the European Palestine and the headquarters of terrorists.

Croatian President Stjepan Mesic told the Spiegel paper that Bosnia-Herzegovina might become a small Muslim state around Sarajevo.

- Bosnia-Herzegovina would be the European Palestine and the headquarters of terrorists – Mesic said.

The Croatian president called Milorad Dodik, Prime Minister of the Bosnian Serb entity of Republika Srpska, the new Slobodan Milosevic, stressing that Republika Srpska was established based on ethnic cleansing.

- Dodik implements the same policy as the former Belgrade potentate.

Mesic warned that the international community should no longer tolerate Dodik`s statements, in which he threatens with a split off referendum.

- Miroslav Lajcak [EU`s high representative for Bosnia-Herzegovina] must have the support of NATO and Washington – the Croatian President pointed out, adding that Dodik believes Europe is tired and that he must secure his power.

If Republika Srpska is to split off, Bosnian Croats would do the same, which is dangerous – Mesic concluded.

- Republika Srpska is a powder keg which can blow up any moment – Croatian President Stjepan Mesic said.
