The aircraft accident investigator will receive an audio on which a conversation between flight control and the Cessna pilot was recorded.
ZAGREB, CROATIA – The cause of the crash of the Cessna T303 plane in which four experienced pilots died on Mount Velebit, will not be known until spring. According to the official plane crash investigator, Dinko Vodanovic, the investigation is entering a phase which must be kept secret.
- I asked of the State Hydrometeorology Institute for a special analysis of the weather conditions on February 5 and I also contacted a company that will conduct an analysis of parts of the plane’s metal – Vodanovic told the Jutarnji list daily.
He added that the blood sample analysis of the killed pilots will be completed next month. Also, he said he would receive an audio which has the recording of the last conversation between the flight control and the Cessna pilot by the end of the week.
Parts of the Cessna were found after a five-day search near the Vagan Summit, on the north side of Mount Velebit. The supposition is that the cause of the crash was a strong wind and freezing as the plane descended a thousand feet. None of the people in the plane survived.
