Racan Ends up in Hospital

Ivica Racan was admitted in hospital for complications and the continuation of treatment.

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has announced the party’s president Ivica Racan has ended up in hospital. 

“Ivica Racan was hospitalised on Saturday morning at the Zagreb Hospital for complications connected with his illness and the continuation of treatment. He is not expected to remain in hospital for long”, the statement said.

Ivica Racan appealed to the media to respect his right to privacy and medical treatment in peace, as they have so far.

We will inform the public about all facts relevant to the medical treatment on time, the SDP said.

The statement was signed by the party’s spokeswoman Gordana Grbic.
