Racan Leaves For Munich For Operation

As we already announced, the doctor consultation decided the best solution was operation in Germany, although Racan opposed.

Ivica Racan will undergo surgery on Thursday, February 8, 2007. The operation will be very demanding, and it will be held in the Munich city clinic. Treatment expenses will be covered by the Social-Democratic Party president himself.

As they point out in SDP, further detailed tests will be carried out firstly, including a biopsy of the aggressive atypical tumour in the right shoulder.

-My momentary disease will not cause a destabilisation of the party. All information I possess, point to, on the contrary, mobilisation and high motivation within the party, and we are used to calculations. It will be proven, once again, they are empty- said Racan in a communiqué in which he thanked all who show him support these days and wish well.
