Retired General Mirko Norac is Getting Married

After years alone, the retired Croatian general has found new love in his birthplace.

Despite being behind bars, the retired Croatian general Mirko Norac has managed to find love, reports Globus. It took relatively little time for the seducer from the 90s to propose to his current girlfriend, the dentist Jelena Midenjak. He should crown his love for her in January. So after his last serious relationship from the 90s, when he was with the HTV journalist Branka Slavica, he has finally found a new woman after being alone for years. The romance allegedly started in May and caught on quickly. Those informed in the matter say that it was love at first sight, and that they spent two weeks together on the coast at an unknown destination, whilst during the weekends they enjoy romantic locations on the Dalmatian coast and untouched nature of the Cetina region.

Unknown to the wider public, Norac’s future wife has a private dentist’s office in the town of Otok, which is near Sinj, so it is suspected that he fixed his teeth at her office.

Mirko Norac spent seven years in prison, and because of his good behaviour he has earned the right to a yearly vacation and free weekends, but it seems that the newlyweds will spend most of their time apart because he was convicted to another seven years in prison this year for crimes committed in the Medak Pocket.
