Text
During his visit to Lithuania, President Mesic said to a Lithuanian journalist that the row with Italy is over, HTV Dnevnik reports.
Mesic says that during this conflict, we received the statement that we sought. Three things are particularly important here: interstate agreements will not be touched, the term 'bloodthirsty Slavs' does not relate to Croatia, and Italy will continue to support Croatia's drawing closer to the EU.
In his meeting with Lithuanian's President Adamkus, Mesic started a two day visit to Lithuania. On Wednesday he will meet the Lithuanian Parliament (Seimas) Speaker, Viktor Muntianas, and have a lunch with Prime Minister Gediminas Kirkilas.
