Croatian proposal for solving disputable border issues is not acceptable, but enables further negotiations, said Rupel.
Croatian proposal for solving disputable border issues before International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea in Hamburg in not acceptable for Slovenia, said Slovenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dimitrij Rupel at a press conference Friday.
However, Rupel pointed put that Croatian response to the Slovenian proposal for solving open issues between the two countries enables further negotiations and this is why the Slovenian party will propose intense negotiations that might start this month.
In its response to the Slovenian proposal for solving open issues between the two countries, Croatian government has proposed on Thursday that the border issue at sea is presented at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea in Hamburg and not OSCE Court of Conciliation and Arbitration as Slovenia had suggested.
