Sanader and Bebic want Kosor gone

Bebic plays a puppet in Sanader’s plot to remove Kosor from the office?

Jadranka Kosor plans to dismiss ministers set by the former Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, which in turn, caused a conflict with the president of the parliament, Luka Bebic. Prime Minister recently quarreled with him at the session of the HDZ Presidency before she finally told him to be quiet.

A source close to the Prime Minister says that it is not clear why Bebic is so chatty with reporters all of sudden when he is usually notorious for avoiding them.

The same source explains that a main reason for this may be because the former Prime Minister, Ivo Sanader, wants to remove Kosor from the office and because he is using Bebic to accomplish this. Argument during the Presidency meeting is only a beginning and it serves to show the public that Kosor is not a doll that will be easily manipulated.

Whole-hearted support

Prime minister’s plan on removing Sanader's figures was revealed by the economic adviser, Zeljko Lovrincevic, who says that Kosor plans spring reforms because she considers Sanader's ministers unloyal and unsuccessful. During lunch with the prime minister, Sanader himself protested against Kosor’s plan when she told him that she could not guarantee the safety of his ministers.

About a month ago Kosor said that she had no intention of protecting anybody’s individual interests and, in the meeting with ministers, she also announced that she would “not allow a chain of double command”.  With her position further strengthened, she had no difficulty in dismissing Ivan Mravak, in spite the fact that the entire HDZ top was against it

It is interesting to note that the mood among ministers changed and that most of them now seem to be appaled with Bebic’s behavior and supportive of Kosor.
