Schizophrenic killer escaped from the hospital

45-year-old escaped from a hospital in Vrapce. He is suffering from schizophrenia and has allegedly committed a murder.

45-year-old Z.B. escaped from a psychiatric hospital in Vrapce on Friday, Zagreb police confirms.

- On February 28 at around 2 pm psychiatric hospital in Vrapce reported that one of their patients escaped during the morning – Zagreb police spokesperson reports. The man wore blue sweatpants with a white stripe and green shirt.

Director of the hospital, Vlado Jukic, also confirmed that the patient escaped, but did not want to reveal any other details regarding his escape.

The man was a killer who suffered from schizophrenia?

The man escaped from the department of forensic psychiatry which usually houses criminals who, due to psychiatric problems, are considered unaccountable. Patients in this department are usually convicted offenders.

Unofficial sources say that the fugitive suffers from schizophrenia and the media reports that he also committed a murder. He is, allegedly, a man who murdered Jovan Rapaic two years ago. Rapaic was walking his dog when the attacker approached him and stabbed him 25 times.
