The Medjimurje chapter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has announced to start filing the non-payment of salaried as criminal acts.
MP of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Dragica Zgrebec, said on Tuesday that employees who withhold work record cards and fail to pay taxes and contributions on salaries should be criminally prosecuted.
-- We spoke about this problem because only a third of employees in small companies are organised in unions – said Zgrebec, stressing that if unions could criticise political parties, then the political parties had the same right.
It is, however, unknown whether the announced amendment to the Penal Code is also the official stance of the entire SDP, Medjimurske novine writes.
