SDP Head Invites HSS Head to Hold Meeting

Such things are inadmissible. The HDZ is blackmailing the HSS. Everything points to this, Milanovic says.

- We need to see what went wrong. More serious and dangerous things are happening in the background. The Croatian Peasants` Party (HSS) has fought against it until now. Against the centralisation of Croatia. The central authorities must not get to decide who will get the money and projects. This is wrong. Such things are inadmissible. The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) is blackmailing the HSS. Everything points to this. People from the HSS claimed that co-operation with the Social Democratic Party (SDP) was good, now everything points to blackmail. Someone is pressuring someone – president of the SDP Zoran Milanovic told a press conference.

He said that every human relationship should have an argument and according to Milanovic, no argument was stated here. He believes that things that are happening in Dugo Selo and Zagreb are shameless. He also points out that they are not asking or blackmailing anyone and that the problem needs to be solved.

- This is the most civilised way to call the HSS president for a meeting. A press conference is also a communication channel. Although a press conference should not be held on this matter, a joint agreement was violated here – Milanovic told a press conference, explaining that the partnership has clearly has faults when he has to invite for a meeting in this way.
