Serb And Slovenian Stole From Serb By Mistake

Text

Slovenian and Serbian citizens robbed a Serb, thinking he was the person who was supposed to hand them over money from Italy.

Zagreb police officers, General Crime Department concluded a criminal inquest over the Slovenia citizen I.B. (34) and Serbia citizen (28) for reasonable doubt they committed a felony of robbery over the Serbia citizen S.B. (22).

With reasonable doubt it is suspected on January 30, somewhat past midnight, they came to a parking area near the Bus station in a personal car, Alfa Romeo with Slovenian license plates.

They stepped out of the vehicle and came to the pedestrian crossing where the damaged party walked over, asking them where he could exchange kuna notes to euros, after which they forwarded him to the bus station.

When the damages party set out for the bus station, the Slovenian embraced him around the waist with both hands, while his fellow-citizen went through his pockets and stole 14,000 kuna.

Then they let him go and ran away towards their car, and then scurried away form the scene. The suspects were brought in to the County court Investigation Department in Zagreb, with a special report.

But, the police had many problems with the harmonisation of testimonies of this robbery participants.

The robbers claimed they were supposed to meet with a person (unknown to them), from who they were supposed to take over money that was sent from Italy. It was not determined who the Italian was and why did he send them the money.

The damaged person said he was supposed to hand over the money to “some two persons”. It was, also, not determined for what reason.

Anyway, it seems that the international three found itself in the wrong place, at the wrong time and a misunderstanding occurred.
