The police have arrested a 51 year old man who injured a 30 year old man, who is fighting for his life, by shooting him in the head.
Early Sunday morning, around 2:30am, near the café bar Limb in Zagreb’s Plitvicka Street, a shooting occurred which injured one person, reports the Zagreb Police Headquarters.
Non official sources say that there was a conflict in front of the mentioned café bar between a 51 year old and a 30 year old. After an argument, the 51 year old shot the 30 year old in the head, and then fled the scene.
The police found the pistol that was used to commit the offence not far from the scene of the shooting, and the perpetrator was soon found and arrested.
The injured young man was transferred to the clinical hospital in Zagreb where doctors are fighting for his life, whilst the 51 year old shooter was taken to the police station in Heinzlova Street for questioning.
The police are still investigating the scene of the crime at 14 Plitvicka Street.
