After an argument in the club Posavina, Zmija (Snake) pulled out a gun in front of the guests and fired six bullets at Baja.
Marko T. (41) after a heated argument took out an illegal CZ pistol and shot Darko P. (29) six times. They had been arguing for a long time, and last year Darko P. tried to kill Marko T. with a metal pipe, and the hearing was supposed to be today. Darko P. is fighting for his life.
Six bullets to the body
The clash happened last night around 11.35pm, in the illegal club Posavina in Pescenica, in IV Kozari put Street. Marko T. called Zmija (Snake) and Darko P. called Baja have rival café bars and have been in bad relations for years now. They constantly argue, and during last night’s incident both of them were drunk.
Zmija started to insult Baja, and in one moment, in front of all of the people in the club Posavina, he took out his illegally owned CZ pistol, which is 7.65mm in caliber, and fired six bullets at him. Baja was hit by at least five bullets in the chest, abdomen and left fist-
Shocked, the guests of the club ran away from the crazy Zmija. After the shooting he sat in his car and drove himself to the police station in 98 Heinzlova Street, and turned himself in. He also handed over the gun he shot Baja with.
Baja tried to beat up Zmija
Both of them are known to the police for similar incidents. In April last year Baja tried to kill Zmija with a metal pipe, for which he was supposed to appear in court today.
Baja, who is in a life threatening condition, was taken by ambulance to the Merkur clinical hospital where he received medical treatment. After that he was transferred to the clinic for lung disease in Jordanovac where he was operated for his multiple bullet wounds in his chest, abdomen, back and left fist.
