The snow caused traffic jams on city roads, but no news of traffic accidents have been reported yet.
Heavy snow began falling in Zadar this Thursday and most of the roads and roofs are already covered with snow.
The snow caused traffic jams on city roads, but so far no reports of traffic accidents have been received.
Croatian Automobile Club reported that, along with the snow-caused restrictions that are in force on the main roads, the motorway Rijeka-Zagreb is now under a winter advisory as well. Trucks with trailers and other heavy vehicles are advised not travel beyond the Vukova Gorica rest area or Kikovica crossing.
