Pula’s Mayor Boris Miletic thinks there are too many free, unregistered weapons among Croatian people.
PULA, CROATIA – Only about 50 citizens gathered in Pula’s main square on Tuesday night for a peaceful protest against a “mafia of all colours”, voicing their dissatisfaction with the state of security in Croatia.
Among those gathered was Istria County Prefect Ivan Jakovcic who told reporters that violence cannot be an alternative to democracy or a law-based state or a peaceful life.
Pula’s Mayor Boris Miletic told reporters that he was appalled by Monday’s and Tuesday’s events in Zagreb, Medulin and Pula. He thinks that there are too many free and unregistered weapons among Croatian citizens, although a police action was carried out to collect weapons from citizens last year.
