Split students block the university

Students occupied the building of the Faculty of Philosophy and took control over other halls too.

Plenum group of students with Split’s Faculty of Philosophy decided on Wednesday that, as a part of the request for free higher education, the entire campus area will be blocked.

As soon as they made that decision, students occupied the building of the Faculty of Philosophy in Radovani street in Split and continued blocking other buildings.

They said that they will lock the facilities and obstruct the work of the Faculty of Philosophy in Split, but allow consultations, tests and exams.

Faculty of Philosophy has 2800 students and new student plenum is scheduled to take place tomorrow evening.
