A new Clinical Research Ward is opening in Children’s Hospital Srebrnjak. It is the first of its kind in Croatia as well as in the whole region. The aim is to focus on clinical research of chronic children diseases such as asthma, allergies, immune system disorders and respiratory problems. The City of Zagreb financed the reconstruction of the ward. Privredna banka Zagreb donated 2.5 mil HRK for medical equipment.
The Clinical Research Ward in Srebrnjak Hospital is the first ward of this kind in Croatia. It is formed according to the EU standards and it presents the example of fulfilling the idea about clinical research in the field of pediatrics.
