State paid 153 million HRK of incentives to Todoric firms

Companies owned by Todoric's Concern Agrokor received 153 million HRK of financial incentives from the state in 2011, as data from the Agency for payments in agriculture, fisheries and rural development shows, as tportal reported.

Although it is still unknown how much the state gave for agricultural incentives in total last year, it is known that this amount is lower than the year 2010. It is known that the highest amount of this money, even 100 million HRK of incentives, was paid to Belje.

Agrokor Concern received incentives through three models: according to the first model of direct payments, that relates to payments per cultivated agricultural land and payments for animal husbandry, Todoric firms received 124,4 million HRK in total. According to the second model, which relates on measures of rural growth, plantations, capital investments etc, Agrokor Concern received 28.9 million HRK. The highest amount of the money, 11,2 million HRK, was paid to Agrofructus, company for fruits and vegetables repurchase and sale. Furthermore according to the third model Ledo received 50 000 HRK of incentives for fisheries.
