Still No Results in Ivana Hodak Investigation

We are saddened to hear in public that the murder of our daughter will be solved soon, but there are no results, said Hodak.

Nearly four months have passed since the murder of Ivana Hodak, and the police have no results, but the public, and before all Ivana’s family are interested why Ivana’s young life was ended.

“I have to admit that we are still very saddened that we first hear statements in public that the murder of our daughter will be solved soon, and then later it does not give any results. Every such statement raises hope in us that at least that one part will be solved, and that they will find the murderers and those who gave the order, but for now there are no results” said the brave and calm mother of the murdered Ivana Hodak, Ljerka Mintas-Hodak.

After Ivana’s murder, the media mentioned various conspiracy theories, and that was the hardest for their family to take.

“We reacted to try and protect the dignity of our daughter. We had to react because it is totally disgusting to soil one person that is dead and cannot defend themselves” added Mintas-Hodak.

The murder raised the police to their feet, and special police officers were on the scene, helicopters were in the air, and layoffs in the police were instant. However, four months later nothing is known yet. The saddest thing is that Ivana’s murder occurred only 100 meters from the police station. If only one officer had been nearby, the tragedy might have ended differently.
