Smoking seriously puts people's health in danger and presents a huge financial burden for every health system. So for the second year in a row the Croatian institute for health insurance (HZZO) organizes a prize game trying to encourage people to quit smoking. The competition will start on May, 31st on the World No Tobacco Day, and contesters can apply till the 10th of June 2012.
HZZO invites all smokers and nonsmokers to join the contest with their own story about how did they quit smoking or why they never started smoking. Fifty stories, rated as the most interesting ones, will win supplemental health insurance policy. The jury will specially rate humor, honesty and motivation. Every ''ex'' smoker can apply with only one story, and the promoter guarantees confidentially (only initials, age and sex will be published).
The goal of HZZO is to raise conscious about risks of smoking and to decrease costs of health insurance. Details about the contest will be announced on the web page of HZZO www.hzzo.hr.
