The police found a gun and a bullet casing with the wounded man, as well as a suicide note explaining the reason for his attempted suicide.
SPLIT, CROATIA – A man with a bullet wound to the head was found at around 5am in Split. He has been transferred to the emergency ward in Split Hospital where doctors are fighting for his life, Split-Dalmatia police told us. The man is called Andrija Ilic and is from Solin.
Unofficial sources told us that a gun and a bullet casing was found near the man, as well as a suicide note, so the presumption is that he attempted to commit suicide.
The same sources revealed that a text message had been found in his mobile phone which he had sent to a woman, saying: “Life has no sense without you”. The circumstances in this case are still being established.
