Tender For Arena Sports Hall Out In British Papers

The Arena Zagreb company has issued out a new tender for managing Zagreb`s Arena sports hall.

ZAGREB, CROATIA - The Arena Zagreb plc has issued out a new international tender for management of the handball beauty hall in Zagreb, the Arena. The main criteria for selecting the best bidder will be a guarantee that world famous people would be invited to Zagreb.

Apart in Croatian cities, the tender was published in the British Financial Times.

The tender issued out in January was cancelled because foreign companies failed to put a down payment in the amount of 5 million kuna (approximately 666,666 euros). However, the new tender sees a drop of the amount to a symbolic sum of 5,000 kuna (approximately 666 euros). The Zagreb Arena company expects the same companies: three US companies Vimex, AEG and Global Spectrum, along with Germany`s SMG.

The tender runs until March 18, while the decision on the new Arena manager will be reached a month later.
