The weather forecast was good for the organizers of the 11th Fair of traditional Croatian products. This event was held at Lake Bundek and it was opened by the City Mayor Milan Bandic. The event lasted for three days and it showed the greatest exhibition of the traditional products in Croatia.
This year the Fair was hosting about 350 exhibitors from all parts of Croatia. The estimated number of visitors was about 20 thousand.
Doctor Damir Kovacic, who was the organizer of this event, says that this exhibition was successful in promoting a great number of the producers of Croatian traditional products.
The visitors were able to enjoy the great variety of food, drinks, souvenirs and the exhibition of Croatian breeds of domestic animals as a special event. The visitors were also able to see presentations showing the preparation of traditional meals. They could try them as well. The new thing was also the exhibition of traditional desserts Sweet Croatia. All the participants and the visitors didn’t have to pay the entrance fee for the event. The sponsor of this event was the City of Zagreb.
