“The Days of Strawberries” event started on Wednesday

The traditional event “The Days of Strawberries” started at King Tomislav Square on Wednesday. It is the 14^th such event in the City of Zagreb.

Growing strawberries makes almost a half of the total production of fruit in Zagreb so it is not a surprise that the organizers want to promote the consumption of strawberries. The aim is for each and every citizen to be able to get fresh strawberries from Zagreb area.

The strawberries will not only be sold at King Tomislav Square but also at more than 30 other locations in the city. The total number of seventy producers will present their products at this event.
