The grand opening of the International street festival Cest is d’ Best is taking place tomorrow. The visitors will be able to listen to a fantastic concert of Kraljeviulice band. They will host Gabi Novak, Sandra Bagaric, Mirko Bacic, Klapa Nostalgija and the band Ezerki on the stage. The orchestra of ten top musicians will play the nicest songs about Zagreb.
The concert will take place on the stage at Petar Preradovic Square (Cvjetni Square) on Thursday, the 31st of May starting at 9.30 p.m. The concert celebrates the Day of the city and the beginning of this year’s Cest is d’Best festival.
-We have prepared a collection of old songs about Zagreb and songs that can be heard everywhere in Zagreb. We are happy to announce a great concert. All citizens of Zagreb are invited to come and sing along – said Pajo and Hadzi from Kraljevi ulice band.
Before the concert visitors will have a chance to see the group of about 30 foreign and domestic street performers who will present themselves in a parade starting from Ban Jelacic Square through Gajeva and Bogoviceva Street to Petar Preradovic Square. The parade will take place from 8.30 to 8.45 p.m. This happy group of performers will present themselves in a short 10 minutes’ show at Cvjetni Square.
This year’s festival will take place on 7 different locations in the city. It lasts for 7 days and the majority of performances will take place in the very city center. Find more at www.cestisdbest.com.
