Another fatal victim of swine flu was little girl from Split who also suffered from leukemia.
Three-year old girl from Split who suffered from leukemia died of H1N1 virus, said Minister Darko Milinovic.
A 61-year-old Luka Matovac, also from Split, died of H1N1 last Saturday. In Zagreb’s Dr. Fran Mihaljevic six swine flu patients are currently in treatment. Two of them were detached from the breathing assistance today and they were all paid a visit by minister Milinovic.
Minister received a vaccine against flu
During his visit, the minister took a common flu vaccine since the swine flu one is still not available in Croatia. Milinovic mentioned that the government will save funds and invest them in case of pandemic, but reiterates that the current situation is not alarming.
He also took the opportunity to invite the owners of nearby cafes to ban smoking in their premsisses as a measure of fighting infection.
