The Minister Vesna Pusic gives a lecture on EU

The Open Day Event was held today in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This was one of the ways to celebrate the European week.

At 11 a.m. the Minister Vesna Pusic met the students of the final years in Prva Tehnicka Skola Tesla and Srednja Medicinska Skola Mlinarska. She presented the ways of informing the citizens about the EU. She also showed them around the Ministry premises.

After that there was a lecture for students. The topic was “Croatia – the 28th member of the EU – the possibilities for the young generations”.

During this year’s event The Open Day the Ministry was visited by 170 students of six secondary schools – Economic School INOVA, Prva Tehnicka Skola Tesla, Skolaza medicinske sestre Mlinarska, Opca Privatna Gimnazija, Srpska Pravoslavna Opca Gimnazija and Srednja Graficka Skola.

This event has been organized for the third time this year. The participants are the students of secondary schools in Zagreb and Zagreb County. There have been more than 1,300 students who took part in the event so far. In this way they have learnt about the work of the Ministry and about the preparation works to enter the EU.
