Thieves Stole Around 31 Thousand Kuna on Christmas

During the Christmas holidays in Zagreb, thieves robbed a woman, stole a car, broke into a house and stole electronics.

ZAGREB, CROATIA - In the area of the Zagreb police department, between December 25 and 26, seven offences were recorded: one arrogant theft, one serious theft with a break-in, one theft and three other offences. One car was stolen, and two were found.

On Thursday, December 25, around 9pm, in the Tresnjevka suburb in Zagreb, an unknown perpetrator came from behind and snatched a 63 year old woman’s purse. The material damage was around a thousand kuna.

On the night between December 24 and 25, between 3pm and 6am, in Maksimir’s Sesvetska Street in Zagreb, somebody broke into an apartment and stole a laptop computer, DVD player, various cosmetics and money.

The unknown perpetrator damaged the 21 year old owner by more than ten thousand kuna.

On Thursday, December 25, between 12:30am and 9pm, in the Jastrebarsko, an unknown thief stole a car, an Opel Astra with Zagreb registration plates. The thief damaged the 45 year old owner by around 20 thousand kuna.
