During last few days the busiest working people of Zagreb were those employed in city winter services of Zagrebacke ceste. The Mayor of the city Milan Bandic and Ivo Covic, the CEO of Zagreb Holding , visited them last weekend. They wanted to check how ready the services are to deal with terrible weather conditions.
A heavy snowfall that hit the town persuaded almost 200 vehicles of winter service to clear the roads during the whole day. This is what the people from Zagrebacke ceste firm reported.
After an inspection of vehicles and after talking to the people, Bandic and Covic joined them during lunch. The tradition is to eat roasted pork on such occasions.
