Robert and Luka Matanic, Amir Mafalani, Slobodan Djurovic and Milenko Kuzmanovic have been brought to Zagreb’s county court.
At around 5pm, the following people were taken before the Zagreb County Court: Robert and Luka Matanic, Amir Mafalani, Slobodan Djurovic and Milenko Kuzmanovic. Robert and Luka Matanic, Amir Mafalani, Zeljko Milovanovic and Bojan Guduric are suspected of being involved in the murder of Ivo Pukanic and Niko Franjic, and associating in a criminal organization. Djurovic and Kuzmanovic are suspected of helping the perpetrators after the assassination.
According to current information, the investigating judge Boris Ivancic questioned the Luka and Robert Matanic as well as Mafalani. Their attorneys said that Luka Matanic and Amir Mafalani defended themselves with silence, whilst Robert Matanic gave his testimony.
The file for the murder and associating in a criminal organization is more than 200 pages long, and is one of the largest after the famous process against the “boys from Knezija”.
The three suspects that have been questioned will remain in custody for one month in Remetinec. Djurovic and Kuzmanovic will be questioned during the night by the investigating judge Ljiljanka Maletic.
