VideoFormer Croatian MP and famous singer Vice Vukov died, who spent his last several years in a coma.
ZAGREB, CROATIA - Vice Vukov has died.
He was born on August 3, 1936 in Sibenik (Croatia). He graduated from the Zagreb Faculty of Philosophy and the Paris Institute for High International Studies (professor of Philosophy and Italian language and literature).
He was a member of the Croatian Parliament from December 22, 2003 until May 10, 2006.
Coming down the stairs at the Croatian Parliament on November 17, 2005, Vukov fell and hit his head, while soon after undergoing surgery slipped into a coma. Doctors announced on March 2006 that he had no chances of recovering. He occasionally became conscious from November 2007 and his condition was stable.
During the 1960s, he was one of the most popular singers in former Yugoslavia. He performed at the 1963 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Brodovi” and “Ceznja” in 1965.
