SINGING LEGEND DIES
SEPTEMBER 24 2008 15:47h
Croatian stars have been saddened with the loss of the best Croatian voice, with the death of the singer Vice Vukov.
His colleagues reacted with disbelief and sadness because they are aware that an irreplaceable artist has gone.
Josipa Lisac, Drago Dikic, Arsen Dedic, Zdenka Vuckovic and Stjepan Mihaljinec were amongst those that publicly shared their thoughts about the deceased Vice Vukov.
“My whole family is very moved by this news. I shared my childhood and youth with Vice because we grew up as neighbours in Sibenik. Vice later sang my songs, we performed together at Lisinski hall. This loss is great. We have lost one of the best Croatian voices” said Arsen Dedic.
Vice Vukov was born on August 3, 1936 in Sibenik (Croatia). He died today after nearly three years in a coma.
