PLITVICE LAKES, CROATIA – Several thousands of visitors to the Plitvice Lakes national park who arrived from all over Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina really enjoyed themselves looking at the beautiful winter scenes with 30 centimetres of snow covering the ground.
The young and old enjoyed the snow even though the temperatures did not rise above minus nine degrees Centigrade.
Several hundreds visitors decided to walk on the snow-covered trails around the Lower Plitvice lakes. They were thrilled by the fairytale-like landscape.
The amazing ice sculptures the waterfalls created will last for at least another month.
