Due to time differences voting in New Zealand, Australia and Japan began last night at around 7pm Central European Time.

Croats in New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Afghanistan, completed voting in the Croatian presidential elections at around 11:30, the State Election Commission (SEC) reports.

Because of time differences voting in New Zealand, Australia and Japan began last night at around 7 pm CET.

Election station in Kabul, which was installed for Croatian soldiers in the military mission in Afghanistan, is also closed.

There are around 406.000 voters abroad who are eligible to vote

The polls in China and Malaysia closed around noon. The voting was administered without any problems, says the SEC.

Around 406 thousand voters abroad are eligible to vote for the Croatian president.

Approval for abroad elections was given by the 55 world states, five more than in past presidential elections. There are 250 ballots abroad and most of them are in Bosnia, where 124 polling stations were opened, SEC reports.
