Croatia lost all disputes last year before the European Court of Human Rights, 22 convictions cost us 75,000 euros.
All legal action in Strasbourg Croatia lost mostly because of procedure slowness, and 1,425 more law-suits are lined up against Croatia, the Jutarnji list writes.
Although disputes for terrorism damages dominated for the past few years, last year the court examined law-suits due to long-term labour disputes, inheritance hearings, family pensions and insurance compensations.
In 2005, Strasbourg declared Croatia was guilty 24 times and the total damage amounted to nearly 260,000 euros, i.e. 1,9 million kuna.
But, it is not easy for the Court as well. Momentarily, it is dealing with almost 90,000 cases, out of which half is against Russia, Rumania, Turkey and Ukraine.
