Justice police officers took away 27,864 dangerous items and 4,795 litres of alcohol at court entrances last year.
According to the justice police information, courts are entered with knives and scalpels most.
Last year at entrances to “palaces of justice” even 11,000 knives were taken away, while around 1,000 scalpels were removed.
As far as explosive matters go, 225 mines or bombs were found in witness and defendant’s possession.
An interesting fact is that, apart from dangerous items, alcohol was attempted to be brought in the court room. Justice police, namely, confiscated even 4795 litres of alcohol, the Vecernji list researches.
